Mother Nature's hand is in the subjects of all my photos. The way a tree grows towards the sun, the unfurling of Spring's new growth and the effect of the elements on even the most mundane of objects. Like the rusty old float, turned from an ugly chunk of functional metal, into a work of art, by years spent in the ocean's punishing waves.
As the salty water eats into the metal, a new face is revealed. One filled with glorious colours and textures. Simply rust, but blooming like an exotic flower, it's petals bathing in the warm autumn sunlight.
